Fiance Says "I Don't Know Where I Would Be Without You", Thinks About It, Then Has a Pretty Good Idea
OCEAN CITY, MD- Wedding bells rang for Carter and Jacquelyn last week as the couple of 4 years took their vows in a beautiful outdoor beach setting.
Jacquelyn stated that she was delighted to meet her other half, pledging her undying love for all of eternity.
Carter, in what can only be described as a moment of extreme sincerity, began his introductory speech before stating his vows. “You mean everything to me. Truly, I don’t know where I would be right now without you.”
“That’s when the wheels in his head started turning” Explains Carter’s mother, who was sitting in the front row. “He just stopped talking for maybe 30 seconds, biting his lip and looking up at the sky like he was thinking about something. It was awkward.”
After a moment of suspenseful contemplation Carter stated to Reverend Stu “You know what, nevermind. I got a pretty good idea.”
Jacquelyn asked him to clarify what he meant before continuing the ceremony.
“Well, I Mean, Obviously I don’t know know for sure where I’ll be” Carter states “But when I asked you out four years ago I was a little desperate for a relationship so I imagine I would be in this same position right now with someone else, Different dialogue obviously, maybe different vows and locations, but you know, same scenario.”
“I was appalled at first” Carter’s mom exclaimed. “But, he’s probably right. What’s she gonna do? Get mad at hypothesizing a fictional scenario?”
Carter also stated he was 90% sure that he would still be in Ocean City Maryland. “I don’t do long distance relationships. So I would definitely be here. If you were not in my life I would most certainly still be here.”
“It’s silly for a man to say ‘I can’t imagine life without you” the reverend Stu told us. “Like, why couldn’t he?”
